Below are our Discovery Class options for this age group. Students do not have to stay all day, but they do have to be enrolled in a class for each class hour they are on campus.

Adulting 101
In our Adulting 101 class, we empower young learners with essential life skills that go beyond the classroom. Whether you’re dreaming of college, moving out on your own, or simply want to be more self-sufficient, this class is for you! We will cover topics such as Financial Literacy, Cooking & Nutrition, Home Management, Health & Wellness, Career Exploration and more!

Taekwando
In our Taekwondo classes, young warriors embark on an exciting journey of physical fitness, mental focus, and character development.

Woodworking
This class is designed as a basic introduction to working with wood, simple tools and other materials. Students will learn: shop safety, project design, proper hand and power tool use and finishing. Students will have access to basic tools needed for class, but are welcome to bring / supply their own hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, etc.

In our Illustration class, budding young artists will explore the magical world of visual storytelling through drawing.

Fiber Arts
Fiber Arts with an emphasis on Needle Felting. You will be learning the history, techniques, and basics of the art of needle felting. The does include a very sharp tool so utmost care and safety will be a priority in this class. We will make everything from felted art pieces, magnets, pins, 3D creations, and wherever else our imagination takes us!

This class will teach awareness, assertiveness, verbal confrontation skills, safety strategies, and physical techniques that enable someone to successfully escape, resist, and survive attacks. This class also provides psychological awareness and verbal skills, not just physical training.

Instead of taking a class, we'd love to have your help for one class hour in our Saplings (3 years old), Sprouts (4 years old), or Shrubs (5 years old) classes! Just list Little Roots Helping Hand in the class hour choice on your enrollment form!
